In the vicinity of Villa Balea, there are many lanes and roads with little traffick . Go down to the beach in Guardamar or take the bike lane towards Torrevieja.
For a longer ride go to the Valley of “Hondon “. On your way you will get a glimps of the mountain, agriculture areas and wineries. Hondón is situated in the region of El Vinalopó. Eat lunch in the towns Hondon de los Frailes or Hondón de los Nieves ( Fondó de les Neus in Valenciano the local language)
Or try the mountain. A longer ride to Sierra de Maigmó
Quite a climb to Castalla where you can eat lunch.
Or make a stop in Agost, known for its ceramic and pottery.
